ArchiMate® 3.0What is ArchiMate® 3.0? ArchiMate is a visual modelling language for describing and shaping Enterprise Architecture. This modelling language has been introduced as the independent standard by The Open Group. ArchiMate can be used separately or together with the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Framework.Why ArchiMate® 3.0? In essence, architecture is about the guidance of decision-making on both short and long term changes. Since every architect, manager and designer have their own language there is a need to create a unified way of communicating. By using ArchiMate as a language it is possible to create cohesion between them by speaking unambiguously. This is done is by modelling the business, application and infrastructure architectures and the interrelationships between them. ArchiMate can also be used to visualise and analyse goals in which the models are used for communication with stakeholders. A training in ArchiMate will give you knowledge about theoretical and practical aspects of ArchiMate and is useful if you wish to be able to apply this modelling language in practice. EndFragment

TOGAF® 9.1What is TOGAF?TOGAF® is a worldwide accepted Open Group standard that supports when building a good Business Architecture capability/Enterprise Architecture (EA). TOGAF is used worldwide by a lot of architects to create architectures for their organizations. As of 2016, The Open Group reports 60% of the Fortune 500 companies have adopted TOGAF® as their standard. TOGAF® is the same for Business Architecture/Enterprise Architecture as what ITIL is for Service Management, PRINCE2 for Project Development and SABSA for security management. TOGAF® brings business-, information- and infrastructure architecture together. It is the process of doing architecture, the link between business, IT and project management. In our courses, you become familiar with all aspects of TOGAF® 9.1 and Enterprise Architecture. After this training, the participants gained enough knowledge to apply enterprise architecture with TOGAF® in their daily work. If the goal is to get certified then we will get you there.Why TOGAF?Business Architecture/Enterprise Architecture is a relatively young field, although a lot has happened the last 10 years. There were many architecture methods, techniques, and frameworks, which were mostly developed by consult/advice organizations and were not publicly available. However, there is a clear trend towards open standards. The TOGAF framework and modeling language ArchiMate are good examples of these open standards. TOGAF offers a number of unique characteristics which are not or only partly covered by the other methods.
